Wealth

Things that make me feel wealthy, in no particular order:

  • A drawer full of clean, matched socks.
  • A clean kitchen.
  • Being married to Michael’s Mommy.
  • A house full of happy, helpful, interested children.
  • Dining Al Fresco (out in back, in the summertime).
  • Both cars parked in the garage.
  • A fire in the fireplace.
  • A freshly mown lawn
  • An uncluttered work bench.
  • Having time to write.
  • Knowing that I’m part of God’s grand plan, and He’s already got it all worked out.

  • What makes you feel wealthy?

    1. Having a healthy body and sound mind.

A house full of happy, interested, engaged, non-texting grandkids.

      Two healthy Bulldogs.

Spending time with happy, positive thinking people.

      A fat bank account.

    2. LOL! I’m with Grandma K “a fat bank account” is a powerful thing!

But, I’d have to say sitting at the dinner table together and talking is pretty great too.

    3. My idea of wealth is to be with my Portland family with all the cacophony and clatter that they produce never-minding!!!
In olden days we would garden together and that is a biggie for me also.
Being up to get up on the doddery legs in the morning is another winner for me.
Also going on a “sniff” with the dog before breakfast is a big help for my spirits.
And always there is the art http://www.annraglandbowns.com
How is that for a little plug for myself?

Wealth is… being married to Michael’s Daddy (aka: Prince Charming)
Having a job that you like.

    5. When my kids tell me that they love me :-)

    6. Great list. It appears that you appreciate many of the simple things in life. That is a very cool thing. And the last one can bring us the most peace of all.
